A pilot capacity building program for the management of Diabetes Mellitus was organised by Lagos State Ministry of Health and sponsored by CODIX Pharma Limited in conjunction with the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital & Lagos State Chapter of Diabetes Association of Nigeria (DAN) on the 25th -26th of November 2009 at EKO Hospitals. The training was well attended by over 30 candidates (Doctors, Pharmacists, Laboratory Scientists and Nurses) from Gbagada General Hospital; Lagos Island General Hospital; Randle General Hospital; Orile Agege General Hospital and Ikorodu General Hospital.
