Our company policy is determined by a competent and dynamic Board; a mix of executive and non-executive directors who are experts in their own field.

The Directors of Codix have over 35 years combined sales and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry both locally and in the United Kingdom. As returning Nigerians with immense pharmaceutical experience in the United Kingdom, obtained from working in various roles with multi-national pharmaceutical companies, we feel very obliged to contribute into the shaping and improving the health of our nation.

Samson Ogunjimi

Samson Ogunjimi

Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer

Graduated from Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University) in 1987 with BSc. (Hons) Industrial Chemistry and worked with MAICO Plaster of Paris, Lagos as a Production Supervisor, before travelling to the United Kingdom in 1990.

He completed his MSc in Analytical Chemistry at University of Greenwich, London in 1996, immediately after which he began his pharmaceutical sales career with Pharmacia & Up John, Janssen Cilag and finally with Merck Pharmaceuticals (all in the United Kingdom) in various roles including, territory manager, Regional Development Manager and Senior Regional Business Manager (a position he held for 5 years heading the London Business). He won among many other awards the prestigious Merck’s ‘2006 Best Regional Business Manager Award’.

He is a marketer and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK, Royal Society of Chemistry UK, Britain Nigeria Association (BNA) and certified member of the Association of British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI). Sammy is happily married with a son.

Biola Akinsanya graduated from the University of Ibadan with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) degree in 1990. She was a community pharmacy manager for 3 years, after which she joined Vital Medix Limited as the Country Manager, a position she held for 7 years, before travelling to the UK.

She completed her Post Graduate Pharmacy Diploma in the UK in 2005. She also held various pharmaceutical roles in both hospital and community in the UK. She joined Codix Pharma Limited in 2008. She is happily married with two girls and two boys.

He is a graduate of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) UK. He is a renowned materials management specialist in the energy industry, having worked with of the biggest utility companies in Nigeria for 25 years, where he voluntarily retired to relocate to the UK. 

He is currently a director of Housing Advocacy UK and the pioneering pastor of a fast growing Holy Ghost Christian Centre in London. He is happily married with 3 boys.

Mr. Kingsley Aguoru graduated from the University of Ibadan in 1990 with a B. Pharma (Hons) degree. After completing his national service in 1992, he joined Christlieb Plc as a management trainee and rose to the position of assistant manager (production) where he was principally involved in manufacturing and operations activities.

In a career that has spanned nearly sixteen years; he has worked for lifeline Pharma ltd (1996-1998), Servetek Engineering Ltd 1998-2002 and Jumez pharmaceuticals ltd from where he joined Codix Pharma ltd as General Manager in January 2008 and was appointed to the board in 2009.

In addition to having a degree in pharmacy, Mr. Aguoru also holds masters degree in industrial relations (MILR 1999) and Business Administration (MBA, 2005). His professional affiliations include membership of the pharmaceutical society of Nigeria PSN, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is married with children

Oludotun Oduwobi is a 1987 graduate of the Law Faculty of University of Lagos. He was called to the bar in 1988 and gained employment immediately as a junior counsel in Abraham Adesanya & Co., a highly reputable firm of distinguished legal practitioners in Nigeria. He has through the years of hard work and diligence risen through the ranks to become partner in the firm. He was further elevated to principal partner following the demise of Late Abraham Adesanya. He has in the course of legal practice been involved in amongst other things very active litigations which included international appearances in foreign courts. He has also participated in clients’ business arrangements and in legal consultancy to a wide range of corporate bodies. He is pioneer member of the board of Codix Pharma Ltd.
